It sounds like a mix of the Gorillaz and Sum 41. You guys clearly know how to make a creative song. There are some things about this I personally don't enjoy, but the structure and flow were so perfectly executed that I could ignore all of that and still love it.

This song gets my full respect.

I'm here to say this, whenever someone dumps their entire backlog of songs onto the audio portal, I tend to steer away from all of it. Because when people do that (especially when it's all the same genre of music), I assume all of it probably sounds the same and therefore do not expect anything different from those songs than what I can already find from artists on Newgrounds. Other people may not think the same way, but I personally find it a nuisance for me and for people who may post a song on the audio portal and have it swept away from the first page because of others that dump a large amount of their music at once.

I'm sorry for the rant. It's more of a public service announcement than anything.

Now for an actual music review: As far as techno goes, it's good. Never was a big fan of it but I couldn't find anything structurally wrong with the song.

[Is this dubstep?]

I myself am not a big fan of dubstep, but I do like it when it's used conservatively in music rather than it being "in your face" about it. That's why I like it here, it's more of a backing instrument and everything is built off of it instead of the other way around.

What I don't like about it is it doesn't sound in tune with everything else. It tends to lean away from what key the song is in, therefore sounding amateurish.

Definitely got more of a Castlevania feel from that than a spacey feel. The lead is fantastic when it gets rapidly paced. I only wish it had more behind it, it's a little empty as is. Like maybe halfway through the song, an actual drum set comes into play then maybe some different backing or lead instruments to flesh it out.
